Apparently, a creative-minded car salesman in Missouri had an idea on how to stop flagging car sales due to increased gas prices: buy a car, get a gun for free!
Max Motors in Butler, Missouri, says sales have quadrupled since the start of the offer.
Customers can choose between a gun or a $250 (£125) gas card, but most so far have chosen the gun.
Owner Mark Muller said: “We’re just damn glad to live in a free country where you can have a gun if you want to.”
They tried this offer in Camden, once, but then all of the car “buyers” turned around and held up the salesmen to recoup the price of the car. Bastards.
